On the Move, 02.28.2014

In order to move forward with implementation of technology goals in the 2012 University Strategic Plan AND goals related to the Learning Commons plan for duPont Library AND provide improved access to the HelpDesk, Library and Information Technology Services is re-organizing and the HelpDesk is moving to the library!

1. Computing and Network Services will become two departments: Enterprise Systems and Computer User Services.

2. The Computer User Services department will move to duPont Library and share space with the Academic Technology Services department. The HelpDesk will be physically located at the Academic Technology Center lab service desk. The phone number for the Help Desk will remain x1369 and requests can still be made to the WebHelpDesk at http://whd.sewanee.edu.

3. Telecommunications will move upstairs in the Telecom building. The service point for ID cards and the switchboard will be in the front office where the HelpDesk is currently located.

4. These moves will take place during Spring Break, March 13-23, 2014. We will keep the campus updated on progress and news of the move!
